I have recently been searching for information about the current economic and social situation in the USA. Whenever one wants to use the internet to find information about one thing the usual result is finding more about everything else. This is especially true when trying read material which might help figuring a course of action in today's turbulent world.
I have traced a path through communist, liberal, conservative, and financial blogs. From left to right the mood is pessimistic. The sky is falling seems to be the common thread. On the left the rate of decline of the US is not fast enough; on the right the country is failing too quickly. Everything from deflation, hyperinflation, banksters, foreclosure fraud. There is too much government or there is not enough government, what ever the reason the correspondents all have one thing in common; their view is orthodox and dissenting views are not allowed.
For the weak minded it is easy to be overwhelmed, put off, put down; accusations of trolldom can be disheartening. The key to success among the blogs is to take the most extreme position and defend it at all costs. If you don't pick a side a parrot that point of view you will be very dissatisfied. Rant and rave as much as possible, threaten people with death in the cruelest way possible then you will be taken seriously by one side and despied but needed by the other.
Any attempt at middle ground will be confusing and not appreciated. Keep at it and good luck

The Gulf Figured Out
The attempted ban on drilling has worked anyway. The first offshore rig is leaving the Gulf, most likely for Brazil: it won't be back for a long time or maybe not at all. Unemployment and economic devastation is the new order of the day. Obama is succeeding in dismantling another portion of the US economy. Further this work is designed as a sop to the crazy environmentalists. The reason the Feds have forbidden any local attempts to repair or prevent more damage is to provide photographic and video evidence of the damage oil can do to sensitive wetlands
This administration is so dishonest it is breathtaking. The average American appears to continue to support celebrity politics. I have no confidence that the American electorate will throw out the Democrat Party. The cynical nature of the Obama administration is transforming this great nation in ways that most people could not imagine and still don't see.

Poverty to Deepen in United States
After totally mismanaging the BP oil spill, President Obama is set to address his latest and perhaps final assault on the economy of the United States. At this writing more than 40 million citizens( and non-citizens) receive EBT also known as Electronic Benefits Transfer. This payment was formerly known as food stamps. EBT takes some of the stigma of welfare and in transaction resembles a credit or debit card.
Tonight in his address to the nation, overblown description, the president will make the case for cap and trade. This policy started in Europe during the 1970's and has been an abject failure. It has reduced the output of trade and has increased the cost to consumers to heat, light, and cook. The United States cannot afford cap and trade; it is simply a mechanism to make certain people extremely wealthy. Included in this group will be Barack Obama, Al Gore, et al. The vast majority of citizens will be hard put to heat , air condition, get to work etc. The pure selfishness of the administration and its allies is breathtaking.
No doubt there are some true believers in the so-called environmental movement, it is difficult to believe that most of them understand what they are saying. Wind power is simply not feasible on land. To replace 20% of current US consumption will require approximately 185,000 turbine windmills. Where will they be located? They will require maintenance, will destroy flocks of birds, and will adversely effect human beings living nearby; each turbine generates noise that will certainly meet the definition of pollution.
What about solar? This method will be great during periods of global warming, but not so great once global cooling sets in during the next 30 or so years. The disgusting dishonesty of so-called scientists is amazing, yet Joe Blow gapes in wonder at their brilliance and believes they are truthful. The media watch dogs are asleep. They are in league with the devils who intend to loot the populace.
Jobs will be destroyed not created. Without private enterprise based on capitalism there is no wealth for a government to exploit. In the near future the government will have completely bankrupted the nation. As this happens fewer and fewer people will have gainful employment. Riots will be the least of the problems confront society. The more likely outcome will be some version of The Road Warrior, a scenario already beginning to play out in Mexico. It is likely that only Canada will survive economically in the Western Hemisphere.
The US government will be forced to confiscate and allocate food to those in their thrall. It will be at least a hundred years before things begin to right themselves. Already liberal progressives like Alan Grayson are calling for the forced imprisonment of anyone not agreeing with him and his colleagues. This is the fallacy of progressivism: it always degenerates in to totaliatarism.

Liberals Hate the Real USA
It is now beyond question that the liberals and the current government hate the United States of America. Any speech, thought , or other disagreements with them are said to be hate speech, hate thought, etc. Of course their speech is full of love for their fellow citizens and their country. Why would this be this case and how did it happen? Recently a coalition of liberal groups petitioned the FCC to fiercely crack down on hate speech encountered on the radio and on cable tv network news channels. I'm pretty sure they didn't mean CNBC or MSNBC.. These people don't want anyone contradicting them while being free themselves to engage in truly outrageous behavior. Liberals feel free to violently demonstrate while conservatives almost, if ever, do the same thing. These people have been taught to hate their country by the teachers of the United States. Actually there are only a few teachers most of them are political commissars indoctrinating children to hate their country.
The so-called Latino reconquesta if it succeeds will be a failure of the greatest magnitude. They will create and inherit a fragmented country which will be closer to the place they came from than the place they wanted to live. Without "hate" speech there will be no free speech. Under the laws of the USA a person can feel safe saying anything they want to say at anytime. The FCC is a false arbiter and should be eliminated.
I spent my first 50 years of life as a Democrat. Things have changed, the Democrat Party is now the party of foreign interests representing communism at worst and uninhibited socialism at best. Say what you will about my ideas, deny them, they are still correct and not hateful.

Tony Hayward Must Go
BP's disgusting safety record is rooted in managerial incompetence. Prior to Hayward's ascendancy numerous accidents in a variety of facilities proved that BP was watching their share price more closely than their work product. That work product should provide the basis for the share price. I suspect that quarterly and annual bonus payments are tied to interim results and that either cost reduction or money not spent goes a long way towards such payments. BP has a history of delaying maintenance and other safety compliance rules to save money. Such deferrals may work a few times but a some point the maintenance must be done and the rules observed.
Mr. Hayward's latest remarks about wanting his life back are despicable, childish, arrogant, and evidence that he still doesn't get it. There were warning signs ignored prior to this latest accident. Corporate culture and the behavior that flows from it are dictated from the top. Tolerance, perhaps even encouragement, of sloppy and reckless actions have now resulted in a environmental disaster the scope of which is still unknown.
Mr. Hayward should do the honorable thing and leave the field, admitting his feckless behavior and basic incompetence. In addition it might be advisable for the entire management be restructured with replacements being vetted for their technical and managerial strengths. A commitment to excellence will guarantee profits and trust. Joe Sestak and Company
The lies just keep on coming. I don't really care about Joe Sestak and his stupid allegations. I simply shows that he, a retired admiral, is as dishonest as every other progressive candidate or sitting politician. The Obama gang warned us yesterday that an official response to this situation would be forthcoming shortly. Why not at that moment? Oh now we find out that it was Bill Clinton speaking on behalf of Rahm Emanuel ( who was presumably speaking on behalf of B. Obama) who made the offer. Who cares? This is dishonest politics as usual. None our elected officials can apparently be trusted, their venality has worsened as the stakes get higher.
I advise every voter to vote for someone who is not in government at this time. So what if they won't have experience. What could be better? Favors to repay, assuredly, but not as many as our incumbent criminals. Barack Obama and his cronies are completely and utterly dishonest. Further, they are incompetent when it comes to governing. They have taken the spoils system to heights hitherto unheard or seen. The United States is now in the position of the former Soviet Union and Nazi Germany: it's leadership is comprised of duly elected and appointed criminals.
The American public is directly responsible for this situation because they voted and this is what we got. The media completely abdicated its responsibility and created a campaign along the lines of a People Magazine article. Yet where is the in depth reporting on the Messiah's personal life prior to his candidacy? We know absolutely nothing about Obama, well he was a user of illegal drugs, he hung out with Marxists, and hates white folk. Beyond that nothing.
Of course we still may know nothing as all the knowledge came from Obama himself; since he lies all the time perhaps this too should be taken with a grain of salt.

Something Strange is Going On
Today the US is changing fundamentally but perhaps not forever. Barack Obama is the first black and the first muslim president of the USA. He is also probably the most dishonest president ever, and that is saying a lot. All politicians and most presidents have been, are and will be crooks. It hasn't been this way forever, but since Andrew Jackson it certainly has gotten worse. Today we have an administration that scoffs at the constitution, paying lip service only; the same can be said for his adoring adherents.
I have been an US citizen since 1947, a conservative since 1996, previously a dyed in the wool Democrat. There is no Democrat party in the United States at this point. The Democrats have betrayed the nation and themselves. In 1964 LBJ promised we would not enter into a deeper conflict in Vietnam. In 1965 the first of my friends left for Vietnam, one year later I found myself in the USAF. LBJ was a liar. You can take it from there. Very few of my childhood friends missed out on the pleasures of military service; none of us would give it back.
The United States is basically a Christian nation, for better or worse, we are not a Muslim or secular nation. So why are we crawling on our hands and knees to any imam who snaps his fingers. I can tell you from personal experience that most Americans are not cowards and will fight for right. Today's liberals however are cowards. They prefer to govern through intimidation, deceit, denial, and are afraid of ideas or anyone who would contradict their pathetic ideas.
Our financial system is being dismantled in a rapid fashion much to the joy of the deluded American ultra-left. Their academic theories are being put to the test and will fail here as they failed elsewhere. From Plato, to Robespierre, to Godwin, to Marx, to Engels, to Lenin, to Stalin, to Hitler, to Mao-Tse-Tung, to GB Shaw, to LaFollette, to Wilson, to FDR, to Alinsky, to Clinton, to Gore, and finally to the Obama crew the perfection of mankind has be postulated but never successfully achieved. Today's efforts in the USA will fail simply for their cynicism. Europe is already disintegrating. Communist China is more capitalist than many formerly capitalist countries. Capitalism is rapacious, liberating, exhilarating, depressing and the one chance for each person to be themselves in any way the want.
As Europe crumbles under its socialist burden, our leaders are so egomanical that they truly believe they are going to get away with their plan of destroying the United States. There are millions of willing accomplices hoping for a piece of someelses pie. The welfare system in the USA is nothing more than indentured non-servitude. The only duty of these citizens is to vote for the Progressive Party. Once known as the Democrat party that is no more. There will soon be no national identity. We are alone in the world inviting anyone to come here and commit crimes, get on the gravy train, with no obligation to be good citizens. In fact they encouraged not to become Americans but rather maintain a hypenated identity.
There are cries for social, economic, environmental, and other named justice forms. There can be no justice without equal justice. The other words are simply feel good themes for people without lives or real ideas of who they are. Mostly they are nobody's and should be forgotten. Most of them will join us in the re-education camps. Personally, I will never go to any kind of internment camp.

Survialism: The New Chic?
Representative Weiner notwithstanding gold is a good thing to have in times of crisis. Times such as are being predicted across the political spectrum. It is interesting that Weiner singles out Glenn Beck as the major offender when most very wealthy people use gold as part of their diversification plan for armageddon. Should inflation reach Zimbabwean or Weimar levels only hard assets will serve as legal tender. Paper currency will be worthless. Congressman Weiner would serve his constituents better by avoiding political tar and feathering and go after the London Bullion Exchange instead.
Most gold is traded on paper. This is the true scam; not Goldlline, not Rosland Capital, or any other advertisers. Many if not all investors in precious metals are traders hyping each other. As there is a finite amount of gold, or anything else except gullibility, What we have now is too much paper chasing too little gold. It turns out that many settlemets are done in cash. Inflated paper is all the customer gets. Now what?
There are many people hoarding food, other supplies, guns, and ammunition. They are planning for a time of great civil disorder. A time when power and fuel supplies will be spotty at best. Food, water, hygienic supplies, and other basics of life will have great value. As the political discourse in the USA deteriorates, and international terrorism gains a foothold here, there government will clamp down. Once that happens there is a good chance that chaos will ensue. How will the average person cope? Probably not too well, this will especially true in large urban areas. There will food riots, murder and mayhem. It won't be on TV for long as power outages will be the norm. The expectations of ordinary life will only be met sporadically, will IED"S take hold after the clamp down?

Rinos On the Attack
Well Scott Brown, Olympia Snow, and other cowards have trampled on individual rights again. Scott Brown is pathetic, immature, and apparently star struck by Harry Reid. Olympia Snow is just as disgusting as she has ever been, these people should go ahead and change parties so a scorecard is not necessary to identify the players.
When the financial "reform" act is passed the government will have an agency that can monitor every transaction by every citizen and even disapprove a positive result. Obama is nothing more than a demagogue. He is no leader, healer, or unifier. The republic of the United States of America is disappearing rather more quickly than anyone would have thought possible.
It is a sad day when the president of Mexico can lecture the USA. Mexico is a completely failed state that today blamed its drug wars on the expiration of the assault weapons ban. This is ludicrous. There is blame for the USA with its drug users creating the market and its law enforcement corrupted by drug dollars. The weapons though are not semi-automatic rifles, they are fully automatic military type rifles. These weapons are not available through gun stores or gun shows. Calderon's remarks were planted by Obama in his first pass at confiscating the weapons held by citizens.
The RINOS are willing accomplices in Obama's plan. They are not dupes. As for the rest of us God Help Us.

Why Is Gold Important Now
Most people are aware of gold and its intrinsic value. Gold has been, from time immemorial, a valued asset. Its value is social, cultural, and technological. Socially gold was the basis of all financial transactions and monetary backing until 40 years ago. At that point Richard Nixon took the USA off the gold standard. This guaranteed spiraling inflation which indeed happened. During the Carter years the inflation was very difficult and doomed his presidency. ( His poor leadership was another factor)
Culturally gold has figured in the arts especially in the form of jewelry, sculpture, and even painting. Gold has a major role in electrical and electronic technologies: gold does not tarnish and carries an electrical impulse quite well.
Gold is important today for the above reasons and perhaps more. Apparently every nation is printing money that has no intrinsic value; aside from the promises of whatever government happens to be in charge. Global hyperinflation is coming and coming soon.
Apparently many people think they are buying but are not: they are acquiring a piece of paper promising to deliver gold. The difficulties with this proposition are obvious. There is a finite amount of gold on and in the earth. What that limit is cannot be known, but what is known is that the difficulty of finding and extracting gold has increased dramatically. What this amounts to is a lot paper with claims on not so much gold.
Given the current political and financial conditions buying gold is a very good idea. Buying gold delivered to your door is a great idea. If you buy paper you will most likely be paid in inflated cash that continues to lose value as inflation increases. Gold in hand is an excellent repository of value in time of chaos. Times which most likely will occur in the not too distant future. The problem becomes that of how to: how to exchange gold for a good or service.
This problem argues for the acquisition of gold coins. This is an area that requires wariness and knowledge. Coins are sold on the basis of their collectible value which is entirely subjective. Smaller, one ounce bars of gold bullion are a more attractive alternative. In today's world gold is not an investment that is right for everyone. Having a gold when paper becomes worthless is right for everyone.
Another way of looking at this problem is the need to simply have hard assets. Silver, platinum, even spare change will have more value than paper. Cars, guns, ammunition, tools, anything that can be traded for whatever is needed. The two most valuable assets will be food and water.
Every government and financial interest is discounting any chance of runaway inflation. The reason for this deceit is simple self preservation. Is it possible that the rich and super-rich are leaving their lives to the whims of government? Take a close look at the governing class. Do they seem trustworthy, or even intelligent enough to be trusted?

Gold is important today for the above reasons and perhaps more. Apparently every nation is printing money that has no intrinsic value; aside from the promises of whatever government happens to be in charge. Global hyperinflation is coming and coming soon.
Apparently many people think they are buying but are not: they are acquiring a piece of paper promising to deliver gold. The difficulties with this proposition are obvious. There is a finite amount of gold on and in the earth. What that limit is cannot be known, but what is known is that the difficulty of finding and extracting gold has increased dramatically. What this amounts to is a lot paper with claims on not so much gold.
Given the current political and financial conditions buying gold is a very good idea. Buying gold delivered to your door is a great idea. If you buy paper you will most likely be paid in inflated cash that continues to lose value as inflation increases. Gold in hand is an excellent repository of value in time of chaos. Times which most likely will occur in the not too distant future. The problem becomes that of how to: how to exchange gold for a good or service.
This problem argues for the acquisition of gold coins. This is an area that requires wariness and knowledge. Coins are sold on the basis of their collectible value which is entirely subjective. Smaller, one ounce bars of gold bullion are a more attractive alternative. In today's world gold is not an investment that is right for everyone. Having a gold when paper becomes worthless is right for everyone.
Another way of looking at this problem is the need to simply have hard assets. Silver, platinum, even spare change will have more value than paper. Cars, guns, ammunition, tools, anything that can be traded for whatever is needed. The two most valuable assets will be food and water.
Every government and financial interest is discounting any chance of runaway inflation. The reason for this deceit is simple self preservation. Is it possible that the rich and super-rich are leaving their lives to the whims of government? Take a close look at the governing class. Do they seem trustworthy, or even intelligent enough to be trusted?

Welcome to the Nut House
We are now living in a time unprecedented in the history of the USA. OK, the civil war was a tough time, so was the Wilson Administration, the Roosevelt administration and the wars that came with them. There have been other times when politicians have overreached trying to implement their delusions about their divinity; but none like the ones we are encountering now. This is not a conspiracy but a confluence of opportunity. Since the last Republican president, Ronald Reagan, progressives have been "leading" the country. As usual wars were the result. Bush 31, Clinton, and Bush 43 all brought war to the country. Now, Obama continues with Afganistan.
What passes for normalcy is really political insanity. 53% of the nation drank the Obama kool-aid consolidating the Democrats position which they established in 2006. The destruction of our system was accelerated by Pelosi, Reid, and others. George Bush was pushing it along cautiously. You might recall one of his last statements "I had to abandon free market principles to save the market" We said something similar in Hue, Vietnam. " We had to destroy the city to save it."
The real question now is how does one lead a sensible life. Within a year the US dollar will be virtually worthless. If you haven't but hard assets do so NOW! Not real estate, buy metals, food, gasoline, propane, guns, ammunition. All of these things will be useful and can be bartered or simply used to stay alive.
Living in today's society is a disturbing experience as the surface sees normal but beneath the waves the sea is roiling. Our money is disappearing, our government is printing play money and the congress is playing crazily with our futures. Forget about the children's future theirs is finished if things continue as the are at the moment.
The anxiety is palpable, but most people are carrying because they feel there is nothing else to do. Once the final emergency is announced there will be no more elections. There will be atrocities committed that no one living claims they can imagine. They will be the Judas that betrays those who disagree with them. This is human nature.

Calling all dupes
My friends, and enemies, welcome to my opinion page. I hope you will enjoy it, or not, it doesn't matter. I have entered the arena of egos on display; this is my second blog but my first personal one.
All those who voted for President Obama have demonstrated a remarkable inability to think for yourselves. Charisma? Normally one would expect an educated voter to do some thinking about the candidate; something none of you did. Oh you blacks voted your suppressed desire to be someone; unfortunately to this president you are still no one. He is indeed an African(american) and his heart lies outside the United States of America. You guilty white voters got exactly what you deserved: a charleton, an incompetent, a puppet; a president who is almost completely unknown.
The United States is at great risk . Those of us who love the country are in for a rough ride. Many of our fellow citizens hate this country and all it stands for; truth, justice and the American way to coin a phrase. The United States of America is under assault by failed European Communist ideas and those that embrace them. These are desperate times and it appears that violence will follow.
Listen carefully to what is said. Opponents will find themselves in concentration (internment) camps for re-education. Should that effort fail there will be mass executions in the name of purifying those who would oppose paradise under Progressive Rule.
There is already a blatant violation of the rule against a State mandated religion: it is Climate Change. This mythical, mystical organization of thought is as false as all other religions. God needs no religion to recognize Him.
The religion of climate change is eerily familiar to those of ancient times when priest dominated society by controlling the explanation of weather phenomenom, natural disasters, and disease.
Al Gore and his acolytes will control every aspect of their parishoners lives; granting electric service to those in the pews and denying it to the rest.
The UN the favorite organization of the Progressive/ Liberals has just criticized the recent Arizona border law as a violation of civil rights. This from an organization that has Iran as the chair of the committee for Women's Rights. Could there be anything more ludicrous? Of course there can: Mexico's immigration laws are much stricter and onerous than anything the United States has done or will do.
There is only one hope at the moment. The November 2010 elections must trim the sails, if not change completely the congress of the USA. If this is not done it is highly likely that, under the guise of a national emergency, it will be the last election for some time to come.
The media watch dogs have had there teeth pulled. The European press is more trustworthy than that of the United States. The pollyanna view of the world promoted by the current government and its media lap dogs could not be further from the truth.
During 2011 the US economy will crash again, and probably so will the rest of the world's finances. Money will cease to have the little value it still retains. Those who have things of value: gold, guns, ammunition, food, and fuel will survive for some time. Those in large cities will not.
To those of you who voted this abomination I ask you to consider the following.
Who is Barack Obama? Who were his grade school friends, teachers, coaches, mentors. What town did he grow to a man? What were his street addresses? Who was his mother?
These are things routinely bruited about in puff pieces about every president except Barack Obama. Who is Barry Soetero?
